The Virgin Islands Energy Office, in collaboration with EVNoire, proudly presents the Electric Vehicle Summit 2024, this groundbreaking two-day event designed to engage, educate, and inspire the community about the transformative benefits of multimodal electric vehicles. This summit will take place on the campuses of the University of the Virgin Islands, spanning across St. Thomas and St. Croix, providing an ideal backdrop for a forward-thinking dialogue on sustainable transportation.
Our goal is to bring together residents, government officials, fleet managers, businesses, and e-mobility enthusiasts to explore the vast potential of electric vehicles (EVs) in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Through a series of informative sessions, interactive workshops, and live demonstrations, attendees will gain comprehensive insights into how EVs can revolutionize transportation, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to a sustainable future.

EV Lunch and Learn and Vehicle Display
Join us for an engaging "Lunch and Learn" session where attendees can witness live demonstrations of various electric vehicle models and charging solutions. This features demonstrations by leading EV technology experts, showcasing the latest advancements in electric mobility. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, interact with the technology, and gain practical insights into the everyday use and benefits of electric vehicles in the territories. A complimentary lunch will be provided, allowing for informal networking and discussions with industry professionals.
Government Panel
This panel will bring together policymakers, regulatory authorities, and government officials to discuss the role of government in promoting electric vehicle adoption in the Virgin Islands. Topics will include the creation of supportive policies, incentives for EV buyers, infrastructure development, and the importance of public-private partnerships. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic initiatives being undertaken to support the growth of electric mobility in the Virgin Islands.
Consumer Panel
Focused on the end-users, this panel will feature electric vehicle owners, prospective buyers, and consumer advocates discussing their experiences and expectations. Commercial Panel
This panel will explore the impact of electric vehicles on commercial businesses and fleets. Business leaders, fleet managers, including car rental and travel and tourism focused organizations will discuss the economic and operational benefits of integrating EVs into their operations. Topics will include cost savings, sustainability goals, fleet management strategies, and the transition to electric delivery and service vehicles. Attendees will learn how businesses can leverage EVs to enhance efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint.
Workforce Charging and Battery Panel
As the demand for electric vehicles grows, so does the need for a skilled workforce to support this emerging industry. This panel will focus on the opportunities and challenges in developing the necessary workforce for the EV sector. Industry experts, educators, and training providers will discuss the skills required, training programs available, and career opportunities in the EV industry.
